Default Why No Users in the SJ & SP area?

it is like I am new to this site, and look at the NT and NF area and there are 54 people in that area, I look at the SJ & SP area and there are 3.. that tells you something.. the N are the professor type people that will go and research things out (i think).. where as the "S's" don't .. so they are less likely to come to a site like this.. like me for example, an ISTP.. I am like super interested in this topic and really just happened upon this site because I saw there was like a site totally dedicated ti ENTP.org or INTP.org i think, so i wondered if there would be anything for ISTPs, but i don't see anything, again, if my theory is correct, it is like this type of personality type is less likely to spend a lot of time researching like this as compared to the NT and NF types...

Actually, I did have keyword stats for lookups on psychological types (On Yahoo). By far the NT's were ahead, and then it was Introverts and then extroverts and then finally ESTP, ESFP. Sensing and Perceiving coupled with extroverted personality doesn't lend itself to spending time online.

You might find that you are on your way to being a INTP rather than a ISTP. I've said that many INTPs seem more like than ISTPs and I think the reverse is true.

This topic is interesting, as the more you understand others you'll understand yourself. People who are good at business and in many other fields are good at understanding people, so its a useful skill to "improve" as anyone that is interested probably is better than average to start with.

I'd suggest you have a good look around the INTP profile and see how different or similar it is to yourself and that in relation to ISTP... Also, just maybe over time you'll get so head strong and self disciplined that you'll then arrive at the INTJ.

People are just so damn interesting!

I just spent 3 weeks with "sensors"

It was incredible, their perception of stuff just blew me away-I was kinda left thinking how exhausted they must be?? Continuosly taking in all the environment, sight, sounds, smells, everything. They continually talked about creating, one of the females, (mother and daughter), is into design and sculpture, Mum into music and song writing/singing.

Just to have a meal with them was one of discovery.

At the end of it I kinda felt a bit of life was missing in me, most of my life I have tested as INFP, and can function quite well in the world, you can almost train and develop yourself into anything that is necessary, but these people so strongly! sensing.....sensing...you gotta see it to believe it.

It is just so interesting the strengths of personality types and interacting with them and seeing the world through their eyes. S's are fun.

I miss the "S's" very much....thank god (no, not you specifically) the universal thingo of appreciation....for different personality types. I love the S's. It is only the J's I struggle with. The heavily dosed J's that is.

I think you're talking about "anal" J's. Most INTJs are pragmatic Js, When they use J they really do, and when it’s not that important then its "whatever"..

isfj's and istj's...are prob the ones you are thinking of.. but even then, only the real J ones.

To be honest most Js annoy me... esp abt pedantic rubbish. But then again, if something needs to be done... I'm a slave driver J.

Extroverted S's are right here right now fun, they are the ones for a night on the town. Introverted S's I'm not so sure about... because if they are not that bright as well.. then it’s hard to find commonality.

N's can be a pain, esp if they are on the same space as you are or they haven't really got much in the way of social skills... I think a lot of Ns are dissatisfied in the workplace as well... to me there appears far less intuitive types of work around than there are intuitives.

Main thing is everyone is happy with what they do and the niche they find fits their type rather than their type trying to fit the role.
