Psychology - Death by a billion cuts (seconds)
Interesting.
I watched time as a child understanding its sinister undertone. A perpetual march. I still remember the exact time 10.40am as a very young child watching a clock and realising this time would never be again. An acknowledgement of mortality.
Funnily enough, I get lost in time; I often can't remember what day it is... because they are all the same. I can't remember people’s names, because as like time... they do not connect to a pattern. They are discrete events.
I'm not sure if things like time and names are that important, I think if you have a good short term memory then you can recollect them at will. However, if you are thinking about so much then some of the lower order stuff simply gets purged.
