I believe that all the time we are getting closer and closer to the Notion that Autism like being "too tall" is simply an accentuation of parental biological traits. Just as being "too tall" can have social stigma it also has adaptive advantages in the right environment, same too with "autism".
Do we label tall people? Do we try to make them walk short?
I'll try to write this weekend about it...
Well, got side tracked from Cortical functions into Episodic memory.
I think I can venture beyond the Korsakoff patients and hypothesis what they are really alluding to, as it converges with one of my theories.
Anyway, I'll try and get that posted when I get it written up "properly". Time is short in supply, sleep even moreso.
