    Default The order of Natural types

    Well,

    I personally believe that there are natural types (As per Myers Briggs and ennagram et al) and there are those that morph across to a type that they consciously have decided to migrate towards.

    Given societies preference for more NTJ (Just look at all the implications of offshoring work and systems/structures/job growth that are occurring in the commercial world) then it would be expected that there is a higher propensity to migrate towards these attributes. Even the modern objective of the feminists would require women to be more T and less F (In order to be independent etc).

    In the context of "consciously deciding to migrate towards" this operates at 2 levels. The conscious sensing level and the subconscious intuition level. Continual conscious "repetition/replay" eventually peculates into the subconscious and as such it becomes part of your psych like autosuggestion and other intuitive abilities.

    I think true migration takes 5 to 10 years in my own personal experimentations. (I'm Dr Evil and the patient ).

    Any comments ??

    That could indeed be the case, I dunno if I changed a year ago from ISTJ to INTJ or if it was an error in my own beliefs about who I was or it was the actual test lol. However the idea does seem plausable, I would most likely be generally drawn to this idea due to the fact that it places myself at a higher level of mental evolution you could say to others however I must factor this into my thinking.

    I can see how your reasoning works in layering the sensing attribute into the subconscious but how do you suppose the retreiving of intuition so they become more aware of it? Hmmm, I think my understanding of the conscious and subconscious in incomplete on this topic and I need more facts. Isnt the subconscious merely the place where all things present in the conscious mind come from including all aspects of personality that is a generic preference? You can I guess try to think differently depending on past experience and try and completely modify their default thinking patterns but isnt the idea of developing the mind in this way more of a NTJ viewpoint anyway? I cannot see such a thing happening in people unless they were under such stress that it was fundamental to their survival.

    This is interesting, I would love to know what you are/were naturally God, and what you have become?

    What is the "sacrifice" made in that change and how easy/difficult was it? 5 to 10 years sounds considerable work.

    If one, or a few of the types were to be the deadwood cut loose from this, which ones have the most perceived likelihood to be reduced?

    Is, (are), there a particular type (s) that may become redundant?

    Given both my parents were INTJ then its almost certain that I am genetically INTJ in orientation. However, various other non MBTI tests quite often show me as ENTP which I can understand why.

    INTJ = Ni-Te-Fi-Se
    ENTP = Ne-Ti-Fe-Si

    This is interesting because it highlights that I am diametically opposite in various tests. To the outside world I am ENTP, but to the inside world I am INTJ.

    Why be ENTP to the outside world?

    Well, I don't want to be anything other than NT. But extroversion matters (especially if you need people to help you achieve higher order goals) and the P is a natural occurance of my desire to be as innovative as possible.
    In effect I have done what I've always wanted to do, be very NT but introverted (to think) and extroverted (to change) and Judging (to implement) and Perceiving (To look at the big picture). I have flexed my mind and actions.

    In terms of everything else, that arose from being incredibly competitive. I had to out think everyone at school....

    Okay...took a few days but I get this now, it's very powerful ...now God, I have another question, partly related to this, USA currently with it's primaries unfolding, and in particular, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, would you care to take a ballpark punt in each of their type?

    Also whom is making the greatest sacrifice? in tucking away their natural type, just a hunch?

    I'm not INFP all the time either, unfortunately I don't understand enough of the types to indicate what I can be, maybe an example is, in my work I am required often to meet very strict deadlines, implementation/time management, I have no problem at all in doing this....but I despise it to pieces in my private time..

    But am really curious about Hillary and Barack at the moment...especially Barack Obama, he is not the usual run of Presidential material is he? I did write and ask him, but I think he has other things on his mind. Now I get Obama spam.

    God's thoughts?
