    Default Intuition, first occurrence?

For those that are highly? "Intuitive" there should probably be some first awareness of the dawning of intuition in your lives.

By this I mean, when you were young, what was the first *wow* subconscious jump in understanding a problem that hit you.

When I was around 8, I remember sitting in class and it just hit me that instead of trying to memorise the 9 times tables (multiplication) I could just use the 10 times tables and just subtract 1 lot. Like 9 x 3 can be more easily worked out as 3 x 10 (Or just get the 3 and put a 0 on it) and then just subtract 3. Like 3x9 is just 30-3 = 27.

I was pretty damned excited and showed the other kids on the blackboard...lol..

So, you lurkers!... how about telling us your first intuitive thought that surprised you, or made you feel a lot more insightful that the other kids in class.

    Default Intuition

This isn't exactly an instance of intuition, but when I was about 3, my pre-school teacher informed my dad that I was "like a 40-year-old woman in a little girl's body"
And this is basically sums up how I've always felt... just infinitely older than my classmates. Not always smarter or cleverer, but older.

    Yeah, know how you feel.

I think that’s common with INTJ's and probably many N's. Simply that you are almost in like an "outer body experience" where you are with a group but disengaged from it.

To me, it’s almost like there are two planes of thought and the N's have that second plane (prob more of a strong form version). I still haven't fully rationalised it, but to me its like sensing (consciousness) is akin to simple action reaction type of engagement. Where as I see Intuition N as older brain primitive type thinking, which is cause and effect, it is predation yet protection. So, I sought of see it like we are consciously seeing the wider picture, we have eyes wide open.
