Over the remainder of the year I think I'll start reading about different regions and types of memory.

I have for a long time noticed I have an incredibly bad recollection of peoples names, I am very poor at what I consider to be discrete (In the math sense) bits of memory that attach as identifiers to information. I can remember visually and in depth the face, mannerisms etc etc, but the name evades me, Like I cannot find the path to locate that memory.

On the other hand I am often bemused about things people have said and events that have happened and people that I know where there and listening at the time simply cannot remember.

The above (and more) needs to be worked into what I still also believe about there being a split in abilities at a conscious level (Sensors) and subconscious (Intuitives) level. With discrete information being more conscious orientated. I also see the subconscious as older brain and conscious as newer brain.
