Sorry, but in terms of psychology what goes through the mind of a government that was set up to protect the interests of blue collar workers (working class) who then turns around and scraps the lowest tax band leading to huge proportional spikes in tax for those that are lowest paid. Its truly mind numbing... they obviously have lost touch with the reason why they exist in the first place.
