    Default Neanderthals and modern Humans

Well, I've said this all along... Neanderthals were simply subsumed into what we called collectively modern humans.

Neanderthal DNA reveals our ancestors DID interbreed with extinct species | Mail Online

The fact that modern humans in Europe can contain 1-4% Neanderthal DNA means that they are reasonably divergent to other modern Humans as Neanderthals are thought of as 99.7% similar (Thus a 4% Neanderthal content would make you approximately 99.988% similar). With Humans to chimps being 98.5% similar.

The next revelation will be that Neanderthals were more advanced than the "humans" they eventually interbred with. Larger skull size is correlated with intelligence. IQ differences... Europeans and Asians with Neanderthal DNA should be less intelligent than Africans if Neanderthals were "beasts".

Humanoids were outside Africa some 2m years ago. It is just as likely that modern Africans initially walked into Africa as walked out of it.

This evidence of Neanderthal can only strengthen the theory of multi regional development rather than the out of Africa theory,

The whole notion that different "breeds" have not been interbreeding has always seemed illogical, if we consider the ice ages came and went every 25k years then we would expect waves of migration and that would occur over that 2m time frame, with winners and losers along the way. Like the Neanderthals given their wide territory would have been in contact every 25k years so there would always be a continuum of species that covered the differences between Neanderthal and "Africans" (If you go with the out of Africa theory). The waves would also wash from Southern Asia and everywhere low enough to escape the ice age progression.

A hypothesis I have is that Neanderthals were brighter and incomers better looking. Hence, only 4% survives and that is related more to intelligence and unobservable innate traits with the Neanderthal physical aspects being bred out (By deselection), Also, Neanderthal physical traits could be lost via the difficulty that incomer females would have had delivering babies that had Neanderthal physical attributes - Which then would suggest that Neanderthal Women’s DNA on the X Chromosome (Mitochondrial) is more likely to have been successfully passed on (Neanderthal women would have successively been able to deliver the same babies - Just maybe that is what eventually bred the Neanderthals out over time i.e. basically a lower net successful birth rate (via incoming females difficulty with Neanderthal physical attributes) as the species merged over time) - and thus makes up a greater portion of the difference being 1-4%.

I'd also hazard to guess that Neanderthals were more introverted and more emotionally bonded to their kindred as well…

Very lastly, if you took the notion of a 4% DNA content in some people, and you believed that it was focused on Intelligence, Emotional bonding etc and not on physical attributes then it would be far more divergently polarized than the average 99.988% initially calculated - as it would all be manifested in those very observable attributes.

Well, just as I had predicted they have now found another "relative" that was around at the time of the neanderthal and "us".

There were THREE types of ancient humans: 30,000-year-old finger fossil is new species | Mail Online

As before, the matter of the fact is that there should be many types that washed back and forth with the ice ages and settled into enclaves.

The multiregional evolutionary concept grows stronger...
