Don't agree with this. They seem to infer that short term madness does not have any uplift in someones creativity. Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees.....
The fact is whether he had short term or long term madness it doesn't matter, its simply the propensity to suffer from it that matters, its how the mind is wired/configered... To be honest any period of madness I would expect to be less creative, its more a case of how close to madness can it get before its a negative attribute.
