In the natural world we live in there are many constants to be observed, they like prime numbers are generally the building blocks that help us draw inferences and understandings of other aligned observations.

When we talk of evolution it is always referred to as the outcome of natural selection. I have long thought that it is not the full story, it might at a macro level keep biological "systems" within a parameter framework (environmental fit) but it doesn't explain why ...

There have been various articles alluding to the notion that Liberals have a greater connection with the Amygdala and its attachment to the limbic system where as Republicans/Conservatives use their rational prefrontal cortex to make decisions rather than base responses. (newer brain v older brain).

This post however is more about what I believe occurs with heightened or highly sensitised Amygdala. Generally it would appear that more creative types are right hemisphere dominant which ...

    A paragraph as follows.

"a person who is thinking of a bear uses the same parts of the brain that light up when he or she thinks of a puppy or something else furry. A person thinking of a bear also ...

Well, going to start writing a follow up to the evolutionary advantage of depression. What else is there better to do at 1am...

Hopefully I can have it done by 3am. Little research or any info on this topic so I'll have to rely on "intuition" although the less confident would call it mere speculation.

At the moment I am working my way through a 100gm jar of coffee a week, even my local shop has picked up on it... hopefully it will be the holy grail ...
